Rakim is a Computer Science graduate (with honors) from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania who is self-disciplined, self-motivated, dependable, results-driven and dedicated to produce a high-quality standard of service, disciplined and resourceful with an analytical approach to Audit, risk assessment, identifying controls, Data Analysis, and challenge-solving, and has belief in team work and technology sharing as a guidance way of solving existing problems, both technical and non-technical.
Rakim has got vast knowledge and clear understanding of web systems development, programming in PHP, JavaScript and Python, configuring computers and peripheral devices to work within and outside the established company parameters, making a significant contribution to the organization's sucess and to expand my scope of knowledge and skills. He is well versed in writing code to create systems that are reliable, secure and user-friendly. Rakim is well versed in performing risk assessment and identifying controls, substantive procedures, processing client information to ensure quality and reasonable assurance to clients across various industries during financial reporting process. He is currently specializing in Data Analytics in Audit to ensure better quality and reasonable assurance to clients across various industries.
His skillset and areas of interest include: JavaScript, NodeJS, React, PHP, Python, Django, Laravel, Git, IT Audit, Risk assessment, Internal Controls, Data Analytics, Microsoft Excel, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Science.
Currently, he is working as an auditor at Deloitte & Touché East Africa, specializing in Data Analytics in Audit to ensure better quality and reasonable assurance to clients across various industries.
